* For the fiscal year ending March 31, Alliance Communications shows record earnings of $12.9 million or $1.36 per share.

Revenues were up 115% over last year with $233.8 million reported. Production revenues were $117 million, domestic distribution revenues were $58.5 million, international distribution drew revenues of $31.7 million, and broadcasting and music publishing interests pulled in just under $3 million in revenues.

Net earnings increased by 77% and profit per share was up by almost 35% to $1.36 per share over the previous year’s profit share of $1.01 per share.

* Productions Video 30 has been awarded the contract to produce Air Canada’s new in-flight entertainment.

Video 30 president Pierre Fyfe says the multi-year deal includes the production of the airline’s monthly video magazine, the creation of promos and tie-in segments and post of the monthly program sked.
