CBC has an interim president and chair to replace Anthony Manera, who filled both roles until his sudden resignation last month.
Effective April 1, the new chair is William H. Neville, who has been director since 1987, and Gerry Flaherty, vice-president, general counsel, is president.
In other cbc news, the crtc has rejected a request for 18-month temporary licence renewals for cbc tv stations whose licences expire Aug. 31. The licensing process will continue as planned.
