The Dec. 5, 1994 At Press item incorrectly stated that Fun TV The Animation Network is reapplying to the crtc for a specialty licence. In fact, the Fun partnership, which applied unsuccessfully for a specialty animation service in 1994, has been dissolved.

However, it is true as stated in the item that two of Fun’s original partners, Cinar and Nelvana, have joined forces with WIC Western International Communications and Astral Communications through The Family Channel (owned by wic and Astral). This new group is going ahead with a reapplication to the crtc for an animation specialty service.

Sega’s live-action video game Fahrenheit was not edited at Symbols as stated in ‘Merging onto the multimedia expressway’ (Playback, Jan. 2, p. 10.) In order to edit Fahrenheit, producer Paragon Entertainment rented an Avid system from Media Composers, a subsidiary of Symbols, and the project was edited by Chris Cooper and Terry Martindale.
