Ellipse opens in U.S.

Paris-based production company Ellipse Programme, a subsidiary of Canal+, has opened Ellipse Program USA.

Simon Hart, vice-president, head of international coproductions for Ellipse in Paris, heads the new l.a.-based operation and, with director of development Peter Carley, will focus on developing international coproduction of tv movies, miniseries, one-hour series, animated series and docs for the international and u.s. market.
