As ytv, Canada’s national youth specialty service, matures, its ad revenues and earnings continue to increase.

1994’s year-end results show ad revenue up 20% over last year, tallying $14,773,832 compared to $12,315,583 for 1993. And for the first four months of fiscal ’95, sales are up 50% over the same period last year. For the three years previous to fiscal ’94, ad revenues increased 40% (compounded average) annually.

Net income was $3,433,085 last year, a whopping 209% increase over 1993’s figure of $1,112,310.

ytv, launched in 1988, is owned by Atlantis Communications, CUC Broadcasting and Rogers Programming Services.
