Syndicator signs on

Buena Vista Television, a distribution arm of Walt Disney Television, has signed on as syndicator for Land’s End, the one-hour action-adventure television series coproduced by Toronto’s Skyvision Entertainment and l.a.-based Fred Dryer Productions.

More Spirou

Montreal-based Cine-Groupe and France’s Animation Dupuis have started production on the second season of the official Canada/France coproduction Spirou, a half-hour animated television series based on the adventures of the European comic book hero of the same name. The 26 new episodes, budgeted at $10 million, are scheduled for delivery in fall 1995.

In Canada, Spirou is broadcast on Family Channel, Canal Famille, certain Baton Broadcasting stations and Radio-Quebec.
