In its debut telecast Oct. 15 on the CTV Television Network, Toronto-based Telegenic Programs’ dramatic series Lonesome Dove scored a 1,243,000 rating with viewers aged 2+.

According to Telegenic vice-president and Lonesome Dove co-executive producer Michael Taylor, the program was rated the number one series in its time slot among women viewers 18+, male viewers 18+ and all viewers 2+.

The series is in the midst of shooting 21 episodes in Calgary. Principal photography is expected to wrap sometime in December.
