Fil Fraser has been appointed president and ceo of Vision TV. Fraser, an Edmonton-based producer and broadcaster, will take the helm Jan. 2, replacing acting president Peter Flemington, Vision’s director of programming.

Founder of the Banff Television Festival, Fraser has been introducing Vision’s Wednesday night programming from Edmonton since October. Most recently, he has been a producer/host of Newsmakers, a weekly public affairs program on Edmonton’s itv, a teacher in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta, and president of his own consulting company.

– The Catalyst Group of Companies has appointed Nancy Chapelle senior vice-president of the Catalyst Group and Jill Keenleyside vice-president of distribution for Catalyst Distribution.

– Amy Zimmerman has been promoted to director of development for the Los Angeles office of Paragon Productions.
