Armstrong’s on board

Multi-format editor Peter Armstrong has returned to Toronto to join Magnetic North. Armstrong, who had been working as editor/post-production supervisor at Calgary’s White Iron Film and Video Productions, rejoins several colleagues with whom he worked at VTR Productions, including colorists Judy Paul and Joanne Roarke and editor Al Knight.

Armstrong has been nominated for an International Monitor Award as well as for a Gemini Award. He’s handled on-line editing on on-line jobs for national and regional spots and tv promo pieces, effects and packaging on tv series and corporate work, as well as creative off-line for commercials, corporate and music videos and long-form tv. Credits include off-line and on-line editing on The Jim Henson Hour for cbc and nbc and the off-line edit on the Insight Productions/cbc coproduction of Kurt Browning, Tall In The Saddle.
