It’s official, feature film producer Alex Raffe is taking the reigns at the Ontario Film Development Corporation. Raffe, who has a solid background in the film industry, takes over from acting head William Mustos. Last year, she executive produced I Love a Man in Uniform, The Lotus Eaters and Zero Patience.

Other production credits include I’ve Heard the Mermaids Singing and White Room. Most recently, Raffe cochaired an advisory committee to report on cultural industries’ sectoral strategies for the Ontario Ministry of Culture Tourism and Recreation. This marks the first time a government film agency has placed an experienced producer at its helm.
