Atlantis strikes U.S. deal
Atlantis Releasing B.V. (a subsidiary of Atlantis Communications) has signed a long-term licence agreement with the usa networks for The Ray Bradbury Theater. The multiple award-winning series will appear on the network for the next 10 years, premiering on the Sci-Fi Channel this summer.
Ray Bradbury consists of 65 episodes and has been sold to 68 countries. It was produced from 1985-92 by Atlantis Films in coproduction over the years with Bradshaw, McLeod and Associates, Kicking Horse Productions, South Pacific Pictures, Avalon Television, Grahame McLean Associates, Ellipse Programmes and Granada Television International, and in association with Wilcox Productions, WIC Western International Communications (through Superchannel) and the Alberta Motion Picture Development Corporation.
Boyce shifts to Baton
ivan Fecan has recruited former CBC Newsworld program director Susanne Boyce to join Baton Broadcasting for a short term as creative consultant on The Dini Petty Show. The talk show is currently in its fifth season. Boyce will report directly to Fecan.
