Kellogg’s treat for Macdonald

A touch of the February blahs might have set in, but rest assured, there’s action brewing below the calm surface.

Dalton Films director Randy Macdonald picked up two days from Leo Burnett for Kellogg’s, working with dop Gabor Tarko.

At The Directors Film Company, director/dop Nigel Grierson from Limelight (an l.a.-based house affiliated with Directors) came up for a three-day shoot for the Coalition on Donation from Ketchum, New York. Robert Quartly picked up two days for Pontiac Firefly from MacLaren: Lintas. Andre Pienaar handled camera.

Imported Artists’ New York-based director Jeff Preiss was in Toronto for five days on American Express from Ogilvy & Mather New York. dop Scott Buttfield joined Preiss for the spot, which profiles Ed and David Mirvish for American Express’ entrepreneurs series. Imported also brought in director/dop Mark Celantano from New York for two days shooting Oil of Olay from Saatchi & Saatchi.

Director Richard D’Alessio has one day from Leo Burnett for Bell, and two days, also from Leo Burnett, for Kraft Salad Dressings.

At Douglas Munro Cinematography in Calgary, director Richard Cairns and dop Douglas Munro have finished up a spot for AgrEvo (a new company, formerly Hoechst and Nor-Am) from agency Fieldstone/Parallel Strategies.
