Breakthrough Entertainment and Sudden Storm Entertainment will coproduce Miss Don’t Touch Me, a dramatic series based on a graphic novel series by the same name.
Breakthrough Entertainment is handling the global distribution of Miss Don’t Touch Me and has launched sales of the series at MIPCOM. Miss Don’t Touch Me will be available to broadcasters in either a 13 x 30 minutes format, or a 6 x 60 minute format. The deal for the graphic novel rights was negotiated by Lauren Duvault for Dargaud, the series’ France-based publisher.
This week, Breakthrough Entertainment also announced that its animated series Rocket Monkeys was greenlit for a third season ahead of the series’ second-season bow on Teletoon.
Season three of the series was commissioned by Teletoon and will feature 26 half-hour episodes. Rocket Moneys is produced by Breakthrough in association with Teletoon and Atomic Cartoons. Rocket Monkeys receives partial funding from the Shaw Rocket Fund. Season two of Rocket Monkeys is set to premiere on Teletoon on Nov. 5.
