Montreal’s Toon Boom Animation and edu-publisher FableVision are ready to release Animation-ish, a program that allows people of all ages to unleash their inner animator.

The do-it-yourself software features more than 50 video clips, three animation skill levels, 24 lessons written by teachers for teachers and a share function for exporting work to multiple formats.

Running on Macs and PCs, Animation-ish is offered in retail and educational versions. Single-use copies ring in at US$59.95, while the educational version costs US$499.95 for a 10-computer licence or US$999.95 for a 25-computer licence.
