Shaw Media has renewed Top Chef Canada for a fourth season.
The competition cooking show which airs on Food Network Canada is the specialty’s highest-rated series, according to a release from Shaw Media.
Top Chef Canada pits up-and-coming chefs against each other in a series of food and cooking challenges as they vie for the grand prize, which includes $100,000.
Toronto-based Insight Productions produces the local version of the NBCUniversal format, which originated on Bravo stateside.
The fourth season is slated to premiere in 2014.
The Calgary-based third season finale of Top Chef Canada airs June 10 at 9 p.m. on Food Network Canada.
