CTV Montreal reporter Camille Ross has jumped to Global Montreal.

A Shaw Media spokesman confirms the hire of Ross, who will be shortly joining Global Montreal’s new morning show, set to launch in spring 2013.

More details on programming and the on-air team will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Toronto-born Ross was a reporter and anchor in Regina with Global News before joining CTV Montreal, where her beat included coverage of Quebec politics and the mafia.

She previously worked with CTV News Channel and Canada AM, covering national and international politics.
