The fifth season of DHX Media’s Johnny Test, a Canada-U.S. copro originally from Cookie Jar Entertainment, will air on Netflix, DHX announced Monday.
The on-demand streaming giant will make the 26-episode fifth season available on Netflix Just for Kids across the U.S..
Netflix has also streamed the previous seasons.
The animated series, created by Scott Fellows, follows the adventures of a young boy who often plays the scientific test subject for his older, genius twin sisters, while also tackling sticky situations and fighting evil villains.
Cookie Jar in April announced that the series’ sixth season would begin airing in 2013. That season has already been sold into multiple international territories, including the U.S., U.K, France, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Johnny Test airs on Teletoon and Cartoon Network in Canada.
DHX’s acquisition of Cookie Jar, first announced in August, was completed at the end of October.
