Kim Cattrall is again lending her voice talent to the animated sitcom Producing Parker, which has begun production on its second season for Toronto’s Breakthrough Films & Television.
The Sex and the City star voices the character of Dee, the quirky host of The Dee Show, whose antics lands the show in jail, goes to rehab, and finally climbs the ratings charts to number one.
The series will also feature the voice talents of Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz), Catherine O’Hara (Best in Show) and Mark McKinney (Kids in the Hall), while cast regulars including Kristen Booth (MVP) as Parker, Aaron Abrams (Slings and Arrows) as Simon, and funnyman Peter Keleghan as the charismatic station owner Blake, are also returning for the sophomore season.
‘We’re all very excited about the amazing voice talent we’ve attracted to the series this season. Having accomplished actors like Jason Priestley, Catherine O’Hara, Mark McKinney and, of course, Kim Cattrall on the show is a real compliment to the absurd yet heartwarming stories we tell on Producing Parker,’ commented producer Christin Simms.
Parker will debut January 2011 on Tvtropolis.
