BBTV hires former Jellysmack exec as senior VP, creator partnerships

Erich Lochner is among several recent key appointments at the media and tech company as it expands its "growth and revenue across strategic platforms."

Vancouver-based creator monetization company BBTV Holdings has appointed Erich Lochner as senior VP, creator partnerships, as the company strengthens its leadership team and looks to enter its next phase of growth.

Lochner (pictured), who reports to BBTV chairperson and CEO Shahrzad Rafati, joins BBTV from global creator company Jellysmack, where he was VP of creator partnerships.

Other recent executive changes at BBTV include the hiring of marketing and media leader Martin Cass as chief marketing officer in January and several C-suite promotions announced in December.

Before Jellysmack, Lochner was at influencer marketing agency The Outloud Group, where he served as VP of operations and chief media officer. He also co-founded Vanishing Angle, an independent production company specializing in feature films, commercials and industrial productions.

In a statement, Lochner touted “hyperbolic growth” for the creator economy, noting BBTV can help creators take advantage of those opportunities.

BBTV works with creators ranging from individuals to global media brands. Rafati said the company is building on its “world class leadership team with talented and diversely experienced executives” as it expands its “growth and revenue across strategic platforms.”
