Rodrigo Pizá has been hired at Cookie Jar Entertainment, looking after sales of new programming and consumer products in Latin America.

Pizá, named on Monday as VP for Latin America, will be based at Cookie headquarters in Toronto.

‘It is critical that Cookie Jar continues to have a strong presence in Latin America,’ said company SVP Jean-Michel Ciszewski. ‘We look forward to benefiting from Rodrigo’s experience and outstanding track record in international sales and extensive knowledge of the consumer products market in the region.’

Pizá brings more than 14 years of experience to his new role. Most recently, he oversaw similar territory during a VP stint at HIT Entertainment. Before that he was GM of the Locomotion Channel, a joint venture between The Hearst Corporation and Corus Entertainment.
