Cream Productions is continuing to see cross-border success with its true-crime portfolio, announcing today the upcoming Canada and U.S. premiere of Murder U.
The six-episode series premieres on Investigation Discovery on Wednesday, April 20 at 9 p.m. ET, and in Canada on Blue Ant’s T+E channel one day earlier, on Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m ET.
In 2015, Cream inked an output deal with Blue Ant International for its catalogue of wildlife, historical and crime-focused TV properties. Other series in the Cream library include Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan for BBC American and OLN and Paranormal Witness for Syfy.
Also in 2015, the prodco hired industry veteran Jennifer Harkness to spearhead its U.S. sales and development strategy.
Murder U explores true stories of crime on college campuses across the United States. It features first-person interviews from key players involved in the cases as well as faculty, friends and family.
The series was executive produced by Kate Harrison and David Brady.
