Crave hands out early renewal to The Office Movers

The Bell Media streamer confirmed the greenlight ahead of the comedy's season two premiere on Nov. 7.

Bell Media streamer Crave has renewed the original comedy series The Office Movers ahead of the show’s second-season premiere on Friday (Nov. 7).

Created by and starring fraternal content creators Jermaine “Jae” and Trevaunn “Trey” Richards, the series follows two brothers navigating Toronto’s commercial moving industry. The first season of the Etobicoke, Ont.-shot comedy garnered a 2024 Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Comedy Series.

Crave greenlit the 6 x 30-minute second season last December. The streamer revealed on Thursday (Nov. 6) that the new season will feature a special appearance by Canadian hip hop superstar Drake (pictured), who previously collaborated with the Richards brothers in their series of viral comedy videos.

The Office Movers is produced by Counterfeit Pictures in association with Crave. The Richards brothers serve as executive producers through their Random Order Studios shingle, along with Clara Altimas and Counterfeit’s Dan Bennett, Shane Corkery and Anton Leo. Altimas and Sebastian Cluer are directors on the series, with Chantal Kemp and Counterfeit’s Chris Kelley serving as producers.

Sphere Abacus handles international distribution.
