Citytv has ordered a one-hour holiday special headlined by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams (pictured) as part of its festive programming.

Bryan Adams and Friends: A Great Big Holiday Jam is produced by Vancouver’s One to See Entertainment. The special will feature an array of artists jamming with Adams at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio.

Confirmed musical guests include Alessia Cara, Alan Doyle, Barenaked Ladies, Lights and The Sheepdogs. Additional broadcast details will be announced at a later date.

The one-off is part of a wider holiday programming lineup announced by Citytv on Thursday (Sept. 18), which kicks off with the Original Santa Claus Parade on Nov. 23.

The lineup includes holiday-themed episodes of new Food Network original series Bake Master Battle, hosted by executive producer Dina Pugliese, and Come Dine With Me Canada (Blink49 Studios); the Citytv Very Merry Movies lineup; and Citytv’s broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on Dec. 31. All titles will also be available to stream on Citytv+.
