CTV has handed out an early renewal for The Amazing Race Canada ahead of the series’ season 11 finale next week.
The reality competition format sees pairs racing across the country and competing in challenges to confirm their next destination. It will return in 2026 with its host, Olympic gold medallist Jon Montgomery (pictured). Casting details will be announced at a later date.
The Amazing Race Canada is produced by Insight Productions, which recently came under the Blue Ant Studios umbrella. Mark Lysakowski is the series’ showrunner and an executive producer alongside John Brunton.
In the lead-up to the season finale on Sept. 16, the first seven seasons of the series will be made available on Crave, joining other already-available past seasons.
The Amazing Race Canada has been the No. 1 summer series for CTV, pulling in an average 1.3 million views, according to Bell Media, citing data from Numeris.
In a statement, Justin Stockman, Bell Media’s VP, content development and programming, said the series “continues to be a powerhouse for CTV” thanks to its “unique ability to showcase the beauty of our country while also celebrating the resilience and diversity of Canadians.”
