The Access Canada Summit has unveiled its inaugural advisory board.
The three-day industry summit, which was announced earlier this month, will run during the Toronto International Film Festival’s 50th edition from Sept. 8 to 10 at the Omni King Edward Hotel with a focus on the Canadian media and entertainment industry. It is run by Access Canada and The Hollywood Reporter.
The board will aid in shaping the summit’s strategic direction and programming, according to a May 26 release.
The board members include Blue Ant Studios co-president Mark Bishop; Allison Brough, Blink49 Studios SVP, unscripted television; Vanessa Case, Paramount+ and Pluto TV Canada VP of content; Mike Cosentino, Cosmedia president and executive producer; and Jocelyn Hamilton, Lionsgate Canada president, television.
Rounding out the board is Joy Loewen, Canada Media Fund VP of growth and inclusion; Sara McLaren, Bell Media director, communications and partnerships; Lea Marin, CBC director of development, drama, scripted content; Robin Mirsky, Rogers Group of Funds executive director; Stephanie Wilson-Chapin, YouTube Canada executive partner lead for TV, sports, news; and Meg Symsyk, FACTOR president and CEO.
