Telefilm Canada has appointed three deputy directors to its business affairs division.
Erica Shallow (pictured left) joins as deputy director for the English market. Based in Toronto, she oversees investment analysts across Telefilm’s Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax offices. She joined Telefilm in March from McCann Canada, following managerial roles at Nelvana and Corus Entertainment.
Montreal-based Christine Saucerotte (pictured centre) has been appointed to oversee Quebec, managing investment analysts in both French and English markets within the province.
Virginie Wallers (pictured right), also based in Montreal, will oversee all program agents nationwide.
While Saucerotte and Wallers were both confirmed in their new roles in January, they have both been acting in an interim capacity since June 2024 and June 2023, respectively. Before her appointment, Waller had been a financial analyst with Telefilm since 2000.
The trio reports to Julie Blondin, national director of business affairs and coproduction.
