Bell Fibe TV1 has greenlit 18 to 35, a workplace comedy executive produced by Run the Burbs‘ Andrew Phung (pictured left).
The 6 x 10-minute series is created by Rahul Chaturvedi (pictured centre) and Charlie Whalley (pictured right). It follows a mid-30s Indian-Canadian woman who, after losing her job in New York City, returns home to London, Ont. to manage her father’s youth hostel.
Chaturvedi, who is producing alongside Whalley, is the series’ director. The writers on the project are Chaturvedi, Whalley, Kaveh Mohebbi and Luisa Alvarez Restrepo.
The series is expected to begin production in May, with a planned release later this year, a spokesperson for the series told Playback Daily. Like all Bell Fibe TV1 series, funding is provided through the network’s licensing.
