Bell Media’s Crave has renewed Slaycation for a second season, and production is currently underway in Alberta.
In partnership with Crave, Slaycation is produced by Blue Ant Studios with World of Wonder (WOW).
The series follows six queens from the international Drag Race franchise as they vacation together in a Canadian winter cabin, culminating in a drag performance for the local community.
Season two will see more drag performers who have already appeared on other Drag Race formats, including Alyssa Edwards, Nicky Doll, Silky Nutmeg Ganache and Tessa Testicle as well as Canadian performers Miss Fiercalicious and Xana.
Crave commissioned the six-episode first season in September 2023. It was released Dec. 31, 2024 in English and French, with global distribution on WOW Presents Plus.
Both streamers are currently airing season five of Canada’s Drag Race (pictured) — which has been renewed for a sixth season — as well as both seasons of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World.
