Fifth Season-backed prodco Blink49 Studios has revealed that industry veteran Mark Ford (pictured left) has boarded the company as chief creative officer, unscripted, effective Jan. 6.
Reporting to Tara Long (pictured right), president of global unscripted television, Ford will be charged with overseeing Blink49’s unscripted media development and production.
Current unscripted projects from the studio include The Braxtons and Toya & Reginae for We TV, Queen of the Castle for CTV Life, and the Prime Video competition format Beast Games, fronted by YouTube kingpin Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson.
Ford is the founder of unscripted prodco Creature Films, known for its docs and reality series focused on music and pop culture icons. His projects have included Laguna Beach and Siesta Key for MTV, Mary J. Blige: My Life for Prime Video, the Paramount+ reboot of Behind the Music and Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. for A&E.
