Crave renews The Office Movers for season two

Crave has greenlit a second season of its original comedy series The Office Movers, with production starting in 2025.

The series was created by brothers Jae and Trey Richards (pictured), who star as two brothers navigating Toronto’s commercial office moving industry. Office Movers is based on their personal experience working for their father’s office moving company. Produced in partnership with Toronto-based Counterfeit Pictures, the series was shot in Etobicoke, Ont. in March.

Counterfeit Pictures’ Anton Leo, Shane Corkery and Dan Bennett are returning as executive producers, along with Clara Altimas as showrunner, a Bell Media spokesperson told Playback Daily. While the first season consisted of 6 x 30-minute episodes, season two did not have a confirmed episode count at press time.

Season one also starred Jack Innanen, Lucas Lopez, Noel Miller, Hassan Phills and Jesse Sebastiani. All episodes were directed by Sebastian Cluer.

Crave said the series was among its top 20 most-watched titles in the weeks following its release on Oct. 11, citing data from mParticle.

“[The Office Movers‘] success is a testament to Jae and Trey’s storytelling prowess and Crave’s dedication to showcasing uniquely Canadian stories with universal appeal,” said Justin Stockman, Bell Media’s VP, content development and programming, in a statement.
