Boat Rocker has signed a multi-year deal with The Weather Channel for distribution rights outside of the U.S.
The deal includes 18 unscripted series totaling more than 400 hours. It was brokered by Natalie Vinet, Boat Rocker’s SVP, global distribution, and Nora Zimmett, president of news and original series for the Weather Group and Howard Sappington, program director at the Weather Channel.
The full list includes Frozen Gold (12 x 60 minutes), Fast Home Rescue (32 x 60 minutes), seasons two to five of Storm of Suspicion (80 x 60 minutes), The Earth Unlocked (23 x 60 minutes), Prime Suspect: Earth (16 x 60 minutes), Deep Water Salvage (14 x 60 minutes), Search Party with Brandon Jordon (12 x 60 minutes) and Uncharted Adventure (22 x 60 minutes).
Rounding out the lineup is Weather Gone Viral (89 x 60 minutes), seasons two and three of Deadline to Disaster (14 x 60 minutes), Weather Top Ten (23 x 60 minutes), SOS: How to Survive (22 x 60 minutes), Heroes and Survivors (16 x 60 minutes), That’s Amazing (8 x 60 minutes), Fat Guys in the Woods (16 x 60 minutes) and 3 Scientists Walk into a Bar (8 x 60 minutes).
Lastly, the lineup includes the two-hour special Dead of Winter: The Donner Party from 2015.
