Max’s The Penguin (pictured) maintained its Canadian demand through its season finale in early November.
The spinoff series, based on the eponymous DC Comics character, was 32.2 times more in demand than the average series in Canada from Nov. 4 to 10, according to Parrot Analytics. It landed at No. 4 on the digital originals chart.
Available in Canada through Crave, The Penguin season finale aired on Nov. 10.
Prime Video’s Hazbin Hotel maintained its No. 1 spot with a demand average of 39.1. Two series with new seasons on the way rounded out the top three: Netflix’s Stranger Things and Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the book from Canadian author Margaret Atwood. The series’ demand averages were 35 and 33.7, respectively.
At No. 5, Agatha All Along‘s demand remained strong following its season finale with a demand average of 31.7, while Netflix’s Arcane jumped to No. 6 following its season two premiere on Nov. 9 with a demand average of 30.6.
On the overall demand chart, Saturday Night Live, with a demand average of 80.3, and The Daily Show, with a demand average of 44.9, maintained the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively. Sesame Street moved to the No. 3 spot with a demand average of 42.6, pushing Hazbin Hotel down to No. 4.
