Bell Media has greenlit a men’s mental health documentary for its French-language platforms as part of the company’s upcoming Bell Let’s Talk Day campaign.
Les gars, Faut qu’on se parle is a 60-minute documentary produced by Trinome & filles in collaboration with Bell Media and directed by Jean-Philippe Pariseau. It features actor Jean-Nicolas Verreault (STAT; pictured) as he attempts to demystify men’s mental health.
The documentary also features testimonials with other actors such as Patrick Huard (Starbuck), Hugo Giroux (District 31), Denis Bernard (Les moments parfaits), actor and filmmaker Étienne Galloy (Plan B), author Patrick Senécal and freelance columnist Fabrice Vil.
Les gars, Faut qu’on se parle will stream on Crave with English subtitles and noovo.ca on Jan 22, the same day as Bell Let’s Talk. It will be broadcast on the same day on Canal Vie and Canal D and on Jan. 26 on Noovo.
