Canal Vie greenlights cosmetic procedure docuseries

The series will take audiences behind the scenes on a variety of cosmetic surgeries.

Canal Vie has greenlit a new docuseries that focuses on the world of cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery, Beautés espérées.

The 10 x 30-minute series, produced by Montreal-based Trinome & filles and directed by Anicée Ouellet, is currently in production and is set to air on the Bell Media-owned, French-language channel starting Jan. 6.

Beautés espérées is hosted by Quebec media personality Marie-Claude Savard (pictured left) as she meets with people who wish to change their appearance through cosmetic procedures. The series will take the audience behind the scenes for procedures such as rhinoplasties, facelifts, liposuctions and Brazilian butt lifts.

The series will feature Savard speaking with other Quebec personalities such as actor and singer France Castel, host Valérie Roberts and sommelier Jessica Harnois to discuss the reasons behind these surgeries.
