Just for Entertainment Group has restructured parts of its team following its acquisition of Just For Laughs (JFL) and subsequent rebranding.

Quebec City’s ComediHa! Group consolidated and rebranded to Just For Entertainment in October, following the June acquisition of the JFL Group assets.

The new hires include Suzanne Hinks, who joins as director of event operations, coming over from JFL in the same role.

Martin Leclerc has been named head of shows and tours. He first joined ComediHa! in February after Just For Entertainment acquired his self-named music and theatre production company.

Nick Brazao has come over from JFL as the head of programming and talent for English comedy. Previously, he was JFL’s head of programming.

Josée Charland, previously the general manager of ComediHa! Fest-Québec, is now Just For Entertainment’s head of programming and talent for French comedy. The company’s head of public affairs, Cédric Lavoie, is now the head of the president’s office and public affairs.

The company confirmed Friday (Nov. 22) that the Just For Laughs Montreal Festival will return in 2025 from July 16 to 27 with Loto-Québec as a partner. The event was cancelled in 2024 when JFL underwent formal restructuring proceedings in March.
