Pixcom hires Nancy Audet as content developer

Audet joined the company's unscripted and factual division on Oct. 21.

Pixcom has added Nancy Audet to its international development team’s unscripted and factual division as a content developer.

Audet joined the Montreal-based company on Oct. 21 and works closely with producer and division head Alexandra Cliche-Rivard.

Best known for her more than 20 years of experience as an investigative and sports journalist, Audet is the author of two books and has also worked on several documentaries. Audet has most recently served as head researcher on Attraction’s untitled Montreal Expos documentary for Netflix. Previous roles include head researcher for Canal D’s Priez pour nous for Crave, and as a journalist and head researcher on Noovo’s Génération Covid.

“After 20 years in journalism, my passion and commitment to telling compelling stories remain as strong as ever,” said Audet in a statement. “I’m joining a driven and ambitious team with a shared vision to develop influential projects.”

Cliche-Rivard added that Audet’s hire “marks an important transformation in the company’s creative direction … focusing on content that blends bold, relevant storytelling with entertainment, while constantly pushing creative boundaries.”

In October, Banijay Entertainment acquired the global format rights to Pixcom’s new series for AMI-télé, Atypical Critics, which shows autistic food critics assessing respected chefs.
