Prime Video’s animated fantasy series The Legend of Vox Machina has jumped in demand early in October following the release of its third season.
The series, based on the first campaign from the Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role, was 27.7 times more popular than the average series in Canada during the week of Oct. 7 to 13, according to Parrot Analytics, moving up six spots on the digital originals chart from the week prior. The first three episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina‘s third season premiered Oct. 3 on Prime Video.
Also in the top five is Australia-based Glitch Productions’ The Amazing Digital Circus. The animated dark comedy, which streams on Glitch’s YouTube channel and is licensed by Netflix, follows six humans trapped inside a virtual reality game. The series’ third episode released on Oct. 4 and landed at No. 5 on the digital originals chart with a demand average of 25.
Making up the top three is Disney+’s Agatha All Along, with a demand average of 28; Max’s The Penguin, with a demand average of 29.1; and Prime Video’s Hazbin Hotel, maintaining the No. 1 spot with a demand average of 39.5.
On the overall originals chart, The Daily Show landed at No. 2 with a demand average of 40.5, while Saturday Night Live remained at No. 1 with a demand average of 75.5.
