Bell Fibe TV1 greenlights County Blooms for second season

The new season expands from its Peterborough County, Ont. beginnings with a tour across Ontario and Quebec.

Bell Fibe TV1 has ordered a second season of County Blooms from JPO & Co Entertainment and Federgreen Entertainment.

The lifestyle series is created by Jen Pogue and shows the impact flower growers, designers and businesses as well as their sustainable practices have on the floral industry.

Production for the new season has now wrapped, with a release slated for spring 2025. Filming locations for season two include Ontario cities and regions such as Ottawa, Brant County, Niagara and Durham, as well as Quebec City. The first season, which was released in 2023, was filmed in Peterborough County, Ont.

The series is hosted by Pogue, who co-wrote with Michelle Jedrzejewski (Man Seeking Woman). Directors on season two are Jedrejewski, Avi Federgreen (Home Free) and Navin Ramaswaran (Invited). Pogue is also a producer alongside Federgreen.

County Blooms is associate produced by Toronto-based Filmcoop Inc. co-founders Emily Andrews (Less Than Kosher) and Laura Nordin (Things I Do for Money). Pogue produces content both independently and as a member of Filmcoop Inc.

The series is funded by Bell Canada and supported by senior producer Paul Gardner (Baking It up a Notch) and producer Donna Cagnoli (Only the Night Knows) for Fibe TV1, according to a news release.

“Viewers can expect garden tours from unique businesses across Ontario and Quebec and learn specific gardening and crafting tips that can be applied at home, straight from the pros themselves,” said Pogue in a statement.
