NBC’s America’s Got Talent saw a surge in demand, jumping to the No. 4 on the overall TV chart in Canada during July.
The long-running reality show, currently on its 19th season, was 43.3 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of July 22 to 28, according to Parrot Analytics. The series airs on Citytv in Canada and counts Toronto-born comedian Howie Mandell (pictured) among its judges.
HBO’s House of the Dragon, available in Canada on Crave, and Prime Video’s The Boys remained the two most dominant TV series for the week. The series were 86.9 and 73.1 times more in demand than the average series in Canada, respectively.
Netflix’s Cobra Kai remained as the No. 4 digital original in Canada following its premiere the week prior. It trails close behind Prime Video’s Hazbin Hotel and Disney+‘s The Acolyte.
