Vancouver-headquartered Studio BRB has struck a partnership deal with Endemol Shine North America, a Banijay Americas company, to develop and produce an unscripted series.

Details are being kept under wraps, but according to a statement the series is being touted as “an innovative unscripted social experiment show.”

Pitching of the new format is set to begin later this summer.

Endemol Shine is the studio behind such behemoth series as MasterChef (Fox), Deal or No Deal Island (NBC), LEGO Masters (Fox) and more.

Studio BRB was founded in 2019 by executive producers Jenni Baynham (pictured) and Chaya Ransen. The prodco has produced a slate of television movies, including Lonestar Christmas (Lifetime), and unscripted series such as Hideaway Homes (Magnolia, Discovery US).

Baynham said Endemol Shine North America provides an “unmatched experience and creativity that can help us take our projects to the next level,” in a statement.
