Toronto’s Alibi Entertainment has added unscripted veteran Joey Case (pictured) to its leadership team as executive producer.

As an EP, Case will help lead the development and creative teams at Alibi, according to a news release. He most recently worked with the prodco as a series producer on the Crave original Made for TV With Boman Martinez-Reid, which premiered on July 12.

Case formerly served as VP of factual content at Attraction, where he was the creator and EP behind the series Underground Railroad: The Secret History for Discovery Channel.

He got his start as a comedy writer, working on series such as This Hour Has 22 Minutes, before moving into unscripted with a variety of hidden camera series.

“Joey brings an incredibly diverse set of skills and experiences to Alibi. He has been at the helm of some of the biggest factual shows that have aired around the world,” said Alibi Entertainment president and EP James Hyslop in a statement. “Joey’s great understanding of telling a story, on-set experience and reputation make him an excellent fit into the leadership team at Alibi.”
