Jameson Parker has been promoted to CEO of Vancouver-based Lighthouse Pictures.
The former VP of production assumes the role from co-founder Jamie Goehring, who will remain with the company to perform day-to-day operations and work on expanding its production slate, according to a news release.
Parker has worked closely with Goehring and co-founder Shawn Williamson for nearly a decade, accruing credits ranging from the horror film It Lives Inside and Hallmark Channel’s TV movie Three Wise Men and a Baby.
The promotion comes roughly three months after Martini Film Studios announced it had taken a majority stake in the service production company.
“Part of the strategy when acquiring Lighthouse Pictures was to expand the scale and scope of the productions we will produce across Canada,” said Martini Film founder Gemma Martini in a statement. “With Jameson taking on the role of CEO, Jamie Goehring will focus his efforts on expanding the production slate, whilst continuing to work alongside Jameson on the day-to-day operations of service production.”
