Rogers Communications and Disney Entertainment have inked a new agreement to bring the ad-supported version of Disney+ to Rogers TV users at no additional cost.

Under the agreement, exclusive shows and movies are now available to Rogers customers as part of their TV package.

The agreement builds on Rogers’ multi-year licensing deals with NBCUniversal and Warner Bros. Discovery, which created a lot of stir during the Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) earlier this month.

Under those deals, Rogers acquired rights to the HGTV, Food Network, Magnolia Network and Cooking Channel brands in Canada, which have been operated by Corus since 2016.

Rogers acquired rights to the Bravo brand from NBCUniversal, and Discovery brands such as MotorTrend, Science, Animal Planet and ID, which are currently licensed as brands under Bell Media.

The Disney+ lineup includes movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, as well as originals, documentaries, live-action and animated series, and short-form content.

Titles on the streamer include The Kardashians, Criminal Minds: Evolution, and Doctor Who, as well as upcoming premieres like FX’s The Bear (June 27) season three, Bluey Minisodes (July 3), season four of Only Murders in the Building (August 27).
