The 26 x 22-minute series has been acquired by Treehouse, StackTV and Teletoon+ for Canada, Pop in the U.K., and Cartoon Network in Latin America and Southest Asia, in addition to the previously announced acquisition from Max for the U.S. The deals were handled by Thunderbird Distribution.
Meanwhile, Thunderbird Brands has appointed Nelvana as the licensing agent for Mermicorno: Starfall in Canada, covering all major categories outside of toys and publishing.
The series is based on the tokidoki characters, and follows a group of Mermicornos as they work together to protect the ocean from evil.
