The first two seasons of the CBC comedy landed on Hulu on Dec. 31, 2023.

Hulu has picked up second window rights to CBC comedy Run the Burbs for the U.S. market.

The Pier 21-produced series’ first two seasons launched on the U.S. streamer on Dec. 31, 2023. The deal was brokered by series distributor Fifth Season.

Run the Burbs is set to debut its 13 x 30-minute third season on CBC on Jan. 9. The series is created by star Andrew Phung and Scott Townend, with both also serving as executive producers. It follows a Vietnamese and South Asian family as they navigate life in the Canadian suburbs.

Additional EPs include Pier 21’s Laszlo Barna, Nicole Butler, Karen Tsang, and Vanessa Steinmetz, and season three co-showrunners Jennica Harper and Nelu Handa.

The series’ cast includes Phung, Rakhee Morzaria, Zoriah Wong, Roman Pesino, Ali Hassan, Julie Nolke, Jonathan Langdon, Chris Locke, Samantha Wan and Gavin Crawford.

Run the Burbs made its U.S. debut on the CW Network last July. The second season initially aired on the network, starting last October, but was pulled off the linear schedule and only available to view via the network’s app and website.
