Buzz around the new season of Prime Video’s The Boys helped it rise in demand in Canada this month.
The Toronto-shot comic adaptation was 25.78 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of Dec. 4 to 10, according to Parrot Analytics, up more than six points from the prior week. The series flew to No. 3 on the digital originals list for the week, following the Dec. 2 release of the teaser trailer for the fourth season in 2024.
Fellow Prime Video superhero series Invincible held on to its No. 1 spot on both the digital original and overall demand charts at 32.7, despite a five-point dip from last week. Crave’s Letterkenny rounded out the top three series on the digital list at No. 2
On the overall chart, PAW Patrol rose to No. 3 from No. 8 in the prior week, while Jujutsu Kaisen held onto the No. 2 slot.

Parrot Analytics calculates its Top 10 lists using Demand Expressions, which are shown by using a metric that demonstrates how much more in-demand the top series are than the average TV show (linear, pay TV, SVOD and AVOD) in Canada. For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
