CBC’s Allegiance filming in and around Vancouver

The police procedural is produced by Lark Productions and stars Supinder Wraich and Enrico Colantoni.

Cameras are rolling in B.C. on CBC’s latest police procedural, Allegiance.

The pubcaster announced the production details and cast for the 10 x 60-minute series on Monday (Nov. 6).

Allegiance is filming in Vancouver and B.C.’s lower mainland into December. Anar Ali (Transplant) is the series creator and executive producer, with Vancouver’s Lark Productions producing in association with Universal International Studios.

Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern (Flashpoint, X Company) serve as showrunners and executive producers, with Lark’s Erin Haskett, Nicole Mendes, David Valleau and Tex Antonucci rounding out the series EPs.

Supinder Wraich (Sort Of) will lead the series as a rookie police officer in Surrey, B.C., who must balance her loyalty to the justice system and her family when her father is arrested on treason charges. Wraich co-stars with Enrico Colantoni (Station Eleven), who plays a veteran training officer.

Additional cast members include Stephen Lobo (Continuum), Adolyn H. Dar (Superman & Lois), Brian Markinson (A Million Little Things) and David Cubitt (Virgin River).

Allegiance was announced as part of CBC’s upfront announcement in June. Worldwide sales of the series will be handled by NBCUniversal Global Distribution. It is set to premiere on CBC and CBC Gem in winter 2024.
