Blue Ant expands FAST partnership with Samsung

Blue Ant's FAST channels Homeful, HauntTV, and Love Pets have landed in new territories on Samsung TV Plus.

Blue Ant Media has expanded its partnership with Samsung TV Plus in a multi-year deal that sees its FAST channels available in new territories across multiple continents.

The channels include renovation and design-focused channel, Homeful, which is now available in Canada, the U.S., Australia, New Zealand after launching in Mexico and Brazil in Spanish and Portuguese earlier this month.

The paranormal-themed channel HauntTV comes to the U.S. after launching in Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand in the last year, while pet-focused channel, Love Pets has launched in the U.K., the Netherlands and Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Blue Ant previously launched FAST channels Love Nature in the U.S. and Crimetime in Canada on Samsung TV Plus.

Samsung TV Plus will also license hundreds of hours of premium factual content from the company’s distribution arm across multiple genres including crime, paranormal, lifestyle and natural history as part of the deal.

Homeful’s roster includes more than 200 hours of Mike Holmes’ library of original series and specials such as seasons one to seven of Holmes on Homes and Holmes on Homes Special: Lien on Me (1 x 90 minutes). Featured series also include Sarah Off the Grid (6 × 60 minutes), which follows celebrity designer Sarah Richardson as she builds an eco-friendly dream home; and Moving the McGillivrays (10 x 60 minutes), which features Scott McGillivray as he builds a home for his family, while also building a home for a family in need.

Programming highlights on HauntTV include Haunted Gold Rush (2 x 60 minutes), which explores ghostly mysteries along an historic Gold Rush Trail; season two of Hotel Paranormal (10 x 60 minutes), which recounts paranormal run-ins at hotels; and World’s Scariest Hauntings (10 x 60 minutes), which brings tales of horror from around the globe.

Series on Love Pets include seasons one to eight of Bondi Vet (61 x 30 minutes + 111 x 60 minutes; pictured), which follows emergency vets in Australia as they save the lives of pets and exotic animals; Hope For Wildlife (65 x 60 minutes), which features a dedicated wildlife rescue team as they care for and return injured animal to their natural habitats; and The Bizarre Pet Vets (6 x 60 minutes), which looks at a team treating the most bizarre and beloved animals in Australia.

Blue Ant Media’s global portfolio of FAST channels also includes Love Nature, Total Crime, HistoryTime and Drag Race Universe.
