North American execs to launch sales outfit at MIPCOM

Leading Distribution Partners will be led by former Incendo exec Gavin Tyler Reardon.

Former Incendo executive Gavin Tyler Reardon has been tapped to lead a new North American sales company.

Launching at MIPCOM next week, Leading Distribution Partners (LDP) has been formed by a team of producers from Vancouver-based Timeless Pictures and L.A.-based Howard Braunstein Films, who will serve as partners at the firm.

The founding members of LDP are Howard Braunstein; Timeless Pictures co-founders Alexandre Coscas and Michael R. Goldstein; and president Ben C. Silverman, who is also president of the Vancouver-based Integral Artists Agency and executive chair of Toronto distributor levelFILM, via a majority share through investment firm Various Things Entertainment.

Reardon has been appointed president of global distribution for LDP, after having previously served as head of international sales and coproductions at Montreal-based Incendo and holding senior roles at IM Global Television and GRB Entertainment.

The L.A.-based company will license original and third-party titles to the global market, and is bringing a slate of Hallmark Channel and Lifetime originals to MIPCOM. Hallmark titles include Timeless Pictures’ Curious Caterer: Grilling Season, Game of Love, A Winning Team, and My Norwegian Holiday; Lifetime films include Abducted By My Teacher: The Elizabeth Thomas Story and Bad Romance: The Vicky White Story (pictured), both produced by Winnipeg prodco Julijette.

“Through the formation of LDP, the partners have established a company that is ideally positioned to be an ongoing and go-to supplier of top-quality TV movies and additional content to buyers across the world,” said Reardon in a statement. “We look forward to meeting with potential new partners at MIPCOM and to continue curating a slate of top-class content across multiple genres for the long term.”
