Netflix’s live-action adaptation One Piece has risen to the top of the demand charts in Canada.

The fantasy pirate adventure, adapted from Eiichiro Oda’s manga, was 36.83 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of Sept. 4 to 10, according to Parrot Analytics. The series, which debuted in Canada on Aug. 31, topped both the digital originals and overall TV charts after gaining more than five demand points from the previous week.

Disney+’s galaxy-hopping series Ahsoka, which had been leading both the digital originals and overall TV charts for two weeks, moved into the second spot on both lists with an average of 34.57 demand points. Prime Video’s The Wheel Of Time (33.63), based on a novel series by Robert Jordan, kept its third spot on both charts, gaining more than eight demand points.

Crave’s Letterkenny (25.92) moved up to the fourth spot after a slight uptick in demand, while Paramount+’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (19.68) moved down to the No. 10 spot from No. 7 the previous week.

On the overall TV chart, the buzz around One Piece has also propelled its anime version into the demand charts. The anime version was No. 5 on the list with an average of 27.61 demand points. Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time was a new entry on the list from the previous week, coming in at No. 8 with an average of 24.81 demand points. PAW Patrol (27.08), the TVOKids series from Spin Master Entertainment, moved down from the third spot to No.6, while the CW’s Supernatural (23.56) re-entered the list at No. 10.

For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
